2020 Nissan Altima- An Honest Review
The 2020 Nissan Altima is a full suite midsize car that has a comfortable and smooth ride. It brings fuel economy and is ready to add stars to the Nissan range. It has roots back to 1992 when it came as a successor of Nissan Bluebird and Nissan Stanza. When compared with similar cars from competitors it seems that sportiness and the nicer cabin is missing. The car is offered in five trims: S, SR, SV, Platinum, and SL with every trim having 2.5 L engines. 2.0L turbo engine variant comes in 2020 Nissan Altima SR and Platinum that try to compensate for a sporty feel that competitor offers.

Modern Exterior

The excitement and forward-thinking are visible from the look of the 2020 Nissan Altima. With deep cutting lines that flow from front to back it shows that it has a close connection with the old versions symbolically. The blending of the muscular hood gives the impression that it should be taken seriously. An impressive grille that is aggressively low from the bottom and is wider to fit the Nissan logo depicts the legacy of class that cannot be taken away.

Interior Highlighted

2020 Nissan Altima can adjust up to five people with power driver seat having cloth upholstery as standard. The available grades bring heated front seats and power steering aside from leather upholstery and sport seats. The LATCH car seats are there to provide safety at maximum for children with good ratings given by the authority. The other features include infotainment system NissanConnect, Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, six-speaker sound systems, a navigation system, and much more. Hence the interior is fully loaded when it comes to infotainment, comfort, and joy of being safe.

Performance Got Better

The car aside from powerful engine capacity is paired with the continuously variable transmission (CVT). In turbocharged engine the EPA is 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The base version has 28mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. It prefers comfort more than agility that is evident when you sit inside. The suspension is firm with the front-wheel-drive as a standard option. It also has an all-wheel-drive that can be arranged when asked for. It has a grip on the road and can perform maneuvers well. This Nissan is as an everyday performance transportation option.

Safety

The 2020 Nissan Altima has not been checked for safety features by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), but the 2019 model was named a Top Safe Pick

(Car and Driver)
The headlights of the car received greater acknowledgment for illuminating the road ahead to perfection. The standard features include pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, parking camera system, and blind-spot monitoring. Every feature helps build peace-of-mind that the car is safe enough to manage uncertain situations. Hence,it acts as a support to driver warning before something happens. If Nissan would have worked on making it feel sportier and having the cabin material better. It makes the aura that is similar to a competitor adding value the Nissan Charm.
